These terms apply to purchases and use of the ARKTENA online store. ARKTENA is a customer-facing art and design brand operated by Alphavikings ehf in Iceland.
Products and availability
Artwork, formats, sizes, framing, materials, production routes and delivery availability may vary by product and destination. The product page and checkout are the controlling source for the options currently offered for a purchase.
Prices and payment
The price, currency, taxes, shipping charges and total displayed and accepted at checkout control the transaction, subject to mandatory law. An order is not considered paid unless the payment provider and Shopify record successful payment.
Personalised orders
For ARKTENA CUSTOM products, customers must provide source material they are entitled to use and the information required for the commission. Customers must not submit unlawful material or content that infringes another person's rights. Where a proof or approval step is stated for the product, production will follow the approved version and workflow described for that order.
Digital products
Digital products are licensed for the use stated with the product. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchasing a digital file does not transfer copyright, trademark rights or ownership of the underlying artwork.
Intellectual property
ARKTENA artwork, branding, product photography, copy and other original store materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. No rights are granted beyond those expressly provided with the purchased product or by law.
Returns, defects and delivery
Returns, withdrawal rights, damaged or defective goods and delivery issues are handled under the applicable ARKTENA store information and mandatory consumer law. Personalised goods and digital content may be subject to specific statutory exceptions where the legal requirements for those exceptions are met.
Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
Governing framework
Alphavikings ehf operates ARKTENA from Iceland. These terms are governed by applicable Icelandic law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply to them under applicable consumer law.
